Comedy Central renews 'Workaholics'

Comedy Central has renewed "Workaholics" for a third season, airing in 2012. In its 10:30 p.m. Tuesday timeslot this season, "Workaholics" has been the No. 1 show in television among men 18-34, while averaging 2.1 million viewers overall. Its viewership has improved in key demos by almost 40%. Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck of Mail Order Comedy created "Workaholics" with Dominic Russo and Connor Pritchard of 5th Year. Anderson, Devine and Holm star, while Newacheck directs for showrunner Kevin Etten. All of the aforementioned exec produce along with Avalon Television's Richard Allen-Turner, David Martin, Jon Thoday and Isaac Horne and Gigapix Studios' David Pritchard. "It's such an honor to be able to keep 'Workaholics' going," Comedy Central original programming and production head Kent Alterman.
