Watercooler: Psych Slays Us by using the first Buffy

James Roday, Dule Hill Allow Shawn and Gus to get the sharpest way possible to remain it for the vampire craze.Last evening, a perfect storm of crime fighting and pop-culture comedy that's Psych offered up a bloodsucker-centric scream that went with bloody goodness as being a severed vein. Perfectly (and misleadingly) titled "This Episode Sucks," the hour first won us finished the guest place by Kristy Swanson, the first Buffy the Vampire Slayer, here playing the main suspect inside the murder from the guy completely drained of his blood stream. To tweak a manifestation from that flick, i was not mad or disappointed doing obtaining a lot fun.Despite the fact that she looked great and was clearly game for your goofiness this show works extremely well at, Swanson was just among "Sucks" products of awesome. There's furthermore a cameo by Lost Boys survivor Corey Feldman (full of the musical strains of "Cry Little Sister" from that kick-ass jewel of eighties cinema), a turn by Tom Lenk, who formerly did some damage as Andrew on TV's Buffy, plus much more nods to vamp movies than you are able to shake a wooden stake at.Really, we gotta give major props to James Roday for pointing the episode together with your inteligence he could accomplish lots of undead gags but nonetheless easily fit into an account by getting a real beating heart. It is not each day you obtain Lassiter trying to find love, as Blacula and Lestat banter about True Blood stream, Dracula 2000 and Count Chocula. Hell, there's a shout to TB's Alexander Skarsgard together with a scene completely from another people, which isn't about vampires of the underworld from the underworld, but remains most likely probably the most messed up horror movies ever. Seriously, don't watch that factor alone or throughout the evening. It's as wrong as this episode was right-on.And so do you sink your teeth into Psych last evening? Wasn't it a scream?Subscribe to TV Guide Magazine now!
